The work is in two movements. The first movement is scored for four concert flutes. For the second movement, the parts are:
Fl. 1: Piccolo and Flute
Fl. 2: Piccolo and Flute
Fl. 3: Bass Flute (trill keys not needed) and Alto Flute, preferably a female vocal range
Fl. 4: Bass Flute (with trill keys), male vocal range
