d’Amore Series Flutes Pitched in either Bb or A, the flute d'Amore is little known today, but has quite a bit of Baroque and Classical repertoire for it. Slightly larger than a concert C flute, it has a very sultry sound that makes it ideal for jazz and for newcolors and nuances. It is more agile than the alto flute, and more interesting than the Eb or G treble.
